After a long season and 15 County Championship shoots in the various disciplines the final results went all the way to the wire only being settled on the results of the final event, the UT Championship held at Rugby on Sunday 4th October. The winner of the shooter of the year, Dave Whitfield, went into the final shoot trailing by just 1 point to Matt Weilman. With a winning score of 96 Dave sealed the victory and the 10 points that secured his title. Denise Humphrey is again the Warwickshire Lady shooter of the year, rounding of a very succesful season that included her first England Team Cap. In the junior category Ryan Sperling has made the 2009 Junior Shooter of the year title his own at an early stage eventually amassing an increadible 86 points. At the other end of the age scale Stu Thomas had put together a 12 point lead before going off on holiday before the last points were awarded secure in the knowledge that he could not be overtaken for the Vets title.

Well done to everyone that has participated in this years County Championship events and Congratulations to all our winners. The Trophies and medals will be given out at the presentation dinner on Friday 30th October.
