The ABT County Championship was held at Rugby & District Trap Club on Sunday 21st June and all rounder Marc Ivey turned out for his first ever registered ABT and shot a 97 to take the HG and County Champion title. kicking himself that he chose to enter birds only Marc had to forgo the prize money but added another County Championship to his collection and another 10 points toward the shooter of the year awards. Dave Whitfield posted a very tidy 95 to take the runner up spot and Matt Wileman, fresh from his recent success in the Double Rise and very new to shooting having only recently made a start came in a very creditable 3rd with a 92. In the Juniors, Stephen Shirley took his 2nd Championship of the season pushing Ryan Sperling into 2nd place on this occassion. The Vets title was hottly contested with Phil Cambrey taking the honours but closely chased by Cliff Ford just 1 target behind.
