David Roberts has won the County Champion and Veteran Champion titles in the 2008 Single Barrel Championship held at Kibworth on Sunday 13th July scoring 95, 3 points clear of nearest rivals Paul Hodges and Bob Kibblewhite both on 92. Michael Hudson secured another championship in the junior category with a very competative 89. Lady Champion is Dennise Humphreywith 87. Anthony Evans was the top scoring senior but with David taking the championship there was nothing more than shooter of the year points on offer for the seniors this year.
